For those who struggle to get time away from the busy office, this week-long itinerary offers a short but concise snapshot of Tanzania. This carefully choreographed safari consists of two nights in each of the three safari camps and lodges selected in three different premier game viewing areas. Each accommodation has been carefully hand-picked, not only for their location but also their refreshing lack of busyness.

Top highlights from this itinerary include daily game drives; learning to track animals from Maasai warriors, and an afternoon visit to their village; exhilarating night game drives and guided nature walks in the world famous Serengeti National Park.

Along the way you will find yourself sleeping in a baobab tree house overlooking the magical Tarangire National Park; camped out in a reposeful cabin of the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge and tucked away in a tented suite on the doorstep of the Great Migration. _____________________________________________________________________________

Arriving into Aruhsa, you will have one night at the Arusha Coffee Lodge – a great place to unwind after your flight to Tanzania. Tucked away in a plantation, you will be blown away by the surrounding scenery as you sit on your veranda looking up at Mount Meru, 14,977 ft above you.

Your safari begins at Tarangire Treetops – an enchanting lodge run by the local Maasai tribesmen. Each room is based around a baobab tree with the suites  elevated so that you have views over the tops of the surrounding trees. Days will be spent exploring the bush and nights can be spent on game drives seeing the nocturnal animals. Who knows you might be lucky enough to spot the elusive leopard!

After your two nights in the trees, you head to the Ngorongoro Crater. A place famed for its phenomenal landscape and for having the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa – it is even home to the endangered black rhino. Here you will spend two nights sleeping in one of Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge’s cosy wooden log cabin suites.

Your final stop on this Classic Safari is a two-night stay in the Migration Camp tucked away in the heart of the Serengeti. It is the perfect spot for migration game viewing and ultimate relaxation as you sit on your deck watching life on the plains around you. Game drives here will be invigorating, you will get to know the Serengeti like the back of your hand, as you lookout for the Big Five.

On your last day, after your final morning game drive you will catch a short bush flight back to Arusha. A day room awaits you at the Coffee Lodge before your flight back home – this is the perfect ending to your snapshot of Tanzania.

To say that this was the best trip I could ever have expected is an understandment. I can not find a flaw in your system.
