  • 6 Internal Flights
  • Price from USD$15,300 per person based on double room occupancy

This ultra-luxe safari brings you the ‘best of the best’ and explores some of South Africa and Botswana’s finest highlights.

Starting in the Cape, this itinerary begins at the multi-award winning One&Only Cape Town situated in the shadow of Table Mountain with epic views of the Victoria-Alfred Waterfront. A destination in itself, there is much more Capetonian exploration in store.

On to Ulusaba, situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, where the Big Five (especially the elusive leopard) are in abundance, and game drives are likely to be some of Southern Africa’s most eventful.

The safari has an epic finale in the Okavango Delta – finishing on a pure and thrilling high whilst staying in one of Selinda Camps superbly designed tented suites. Explore the incredibly lush delta by watercraft, 4-wheel drive vehicle, or on a walking safari with Selinda’s enthusiast-guides.

Your Cape Town experience will be eventful – there are plenty of activities on offer, including taking the Aerial Cableway up to the top of Table Mountain, visits to Cape Peninsula and a full-day trip to the winelands where you will taste wine and have a leisurely lunch. Your accommodation will be the five star One&Only resort in Cape Town, settled below Table Mountain with panoramic views of the marina.

We fly into Johannesburg and onto Maun, and then into the Delta. You will spend days exploring the incredibly lush Delta by watercraft, 4-wheel drive vehicles and bush walks; not to mention relaxing in the lodge pool, soaking up the expansive views and enjoying the exceptionally great food. Your home for these last three nights is at either the Gomoti Plains Camp or Sable Alley, resting on the banks of the Okavango Delta in northern Botswana.

From the Delta you will fly to Johannesburg where you can enjoy the comforts of the Saxon Hotel Villas & Spa based in the Sandhurst Suburb. This hotel was a halcyon retreat for Nelson Mandela where he finished writing his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom.

A morning flight takes you to Sabi Sand Game Reserve where you will stay at the luxurious Ulusaba, situated in its own private reserve. Enjoy spying on the hippos that occupy the nearby riverbeds from your own thatched suite and head out on eventful game drives. Wildlife here is plentiful – the area is renowned to be a hot spot for the Big Five.

After a morning game drive, it’s back to South Africa’s capital where we will fly by charter aircraft to Johannesburg connecting with your return flights home.

Thank you again for all the unexpected wonderful gifts and surprises that we received on our safari. We have proof now that Santa Claus’ headquarters is in Africa, not the North Pole
